We held our Remembrance Day Ceremony today at KVMS with special guests from the Millville Legion Branch #59 and Sgt. Brian Clarke and Corporal Tina Maillet as special speakers. Jorja and Aubree opened the ceremony, followed by the March on the colours by Branch #59. O’Canada was led by our school choir and the grade 1 class did a fantastic job reciting a poem, “Little Poppy”. Paisley Brewer wrote and read, “Letters to a Soldier”, followed by poems by Ava and Myla, and Ivy McWilliam. Special thank you to our Remembrance Day committee who organized this event.
